Searching for similar keywords by characters or letters

Fuzzy search menu choice

When you need to search for some keywords but you are not sure of the exact spelling or the words are misspelled, fuzzy search comes to the rescue finding strings (sequences of characters) that match a pattern approximately (rather than exactly).

Fuzzy search is sort of a normal search but using (internally) wildcards. For instance, in the example below, we applied a fuzzy search to the string sequence "overn", which may not make sense but this is what happens when you are not entirely sure of a particular term but you have some hints of the characters it may contain.

Tb-Scout v2.5 uses a basic but effective algorithm to performs fuzzy searches, and it simply works.
